First things first. Yes, I know I haven’t been publishing for the past few weeks, but I’ve got the perfect excuse. My parents are here with me for a visit from Israel, and they come first 🙂
Between hanging out with them and playing a tourist for a bit, I’ve been preparing for our first rehearsal of Mozart’s “Cosi fan Tutte”. I’m very excited about this coming project. Besides doing my first full Fiordiligi, I get to work with talented colleagues whom I worked with before. I met Bence Juhász, the conductor and the man behind the concept, at the first InCanto International Summer Studio in LÜNEBURG this last summer. During our work together some months ago, he showed himself as a real master of timing. Singing while he conducted felt like playing chamber music with a full orchestra. What an ear and flexibility! Possessing both humility and the ability to lead at such a young age (21) is truly rare.
Here is a video from our first musical encounter:
Bravo!!! It is reallt exciting!
